  The doctor himself is wonderful but because I no longer have insurance I offered to be a cash patient and feel that the office is taking advantage of me because I have no insurance to go through, therefor they feel it is appropriate to charge me a $25 fee for RESCHEDULING an appointment. When called by the office they were under the impression that I still had insurance that I just wished to be a cash patient and had no mention of trying to charge me $25 for RESCHEDULING an appointment until I reminded her that I no longer had insurance and would just be a cash patient. There is two things wrong with this, you absolutely can not charge me as a cash patient if I have insurance and secondly they had no intention of charging me for a rescheduled appointment when they thought I had insurance because it is wrong and illegal and an insurance company would not have allowed that, but as soon as I informed them I had no insurance they thought they would take advantage of me since I am paying cash and have no insurance company to deny their ridiculous request to charge for a rescheduled appointment. It seems that I am no longer important to my doctor whom I've had my ENTIRE life because I no longer have insurance. I am an aspiring medical student and I hope that I do not treat my patients as low as I have been treated today. $50 isn't much to a medical practice that brings in vasts amounts of money each day but because they wanted to try and make an extra $25, because there's no litigator between whats right and my money, I am taking my issue to an urgent care. It is really unfortunate that my childhood doctors office would treat me with such disrespect since apparently a person without insurance is not respectable.

  Best Doctor anyone could have! Very friendly, with a great bedside manner! Treats His patients like humans. Very friendly staff as well! I recommend Him!
